Our Mission
Keep them together.
Ruth's Renewal exists so that no mother has to face her hardest moment alone — and no baby has to begin life without the arms that were made for them.
Why we exist
We began where the pain was loudest.
We stood in hospital rooms and saw mothers who loved their babies fiercely — mothers who were also fighting battles no one could see. We watched newborns wheeled one direction and their mothers left in the other, both of them beginning life on the wrong side of a door.
We couldn't accept that as the ending.
Ruth's Renewal is our answer. A mission built around one stubborn belief: that healing happens fastest when a mother and her child are allowed to heal together — held by faith, by science, and by a community that refuses to look away.
What separation sounds like
Two hearts that were meant to beat as one.
Our mission is the quiet, patient work of bringing those rhythms back into tune.

Our Mission
To empower mothers in recovery and nurture their infants through compassion, connection, and trauma-informed care.
Our Vision
A world where every mother and child in recovery can heal, grow, and thrive together — in love, connection, and renewal.

The grip that starts everything.
What we're committed to
Three quiet promises we keep.
Stay together.
We fight for the sacred first days — the skin-to-skin, the feeding, the eye contact — because attachment is not sentimental, it's neurological. It's what builds a child's sense that the world is safe.
Heal the mother.
A mother in recovery is not a risk to be managed — she is a life being remade. We surround her with structure, faith, and dignity so she can become the mother her child already believes she is.
Restore the story.
We believe every woman's past can be redeemed and every child's beginning can be rewritten. Our work is patient, and it is possible.

From the founders
This isn't a program to us. It's a promise.
We didn't set out to build a nonprofit. We set out to answer something God laid on our hearts the first time we saw a baby placed in an empty bassinet while his mother wept alone in a hospital bed down the hall.
Every step of this mission is measured against one question: would this reach the woman we couldn't stop thinking about?

Our hope
A day when no mother loses her child to addiction.
When families are restored, not separated. When our communities see not what someone has done — but what God can still do through them.
This mission was never ours alone. It belongs to every hand willing to hold another, every voice willing to pray, and every heart willing to believe a story isn't over yet.
